Cookies and Similar Technologies

Payment Defender and approved service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and protect the website, remember settings, understand website performance, and support approved communications.

Strictly Necessary Technologies

Strictly necessary technologies support functions such as security, fraud prevention, network management, form operation, user authentication, load balancing, and preference storage. The website may not function correctly without these technologies.

Analytics Technologies

Payment Defender uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, on the public website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to help us understand how visitors use the website, such as the pages viewed, the approximate region of the visit, the referring website, and general device and browser information. Google Analytics may also process limited information that visitors provide through website forms, such as an email address, in a hashed form to improve measurement accuracy.

We use this information to understand website performance, improve content and navigation, and support the security and operation of the website. We do not use Google Analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Google processes this information on our behalf, and its handling of the information is described in the Google privacy policy available at policies.google.com/privacy. We may also receive limited operational and security information through our hosting infrastructure, such as page requests, device information, Internet Protocol addresses, and diagnostic events.

Cookie Choices

You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

When Payment Defender uses nonessential cookies that require consent or an opt-out under applicable law, we will provide the required preference controls.

Payment Defender does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Payment Defender does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not use personal information for targeted advertising across unrelated websites or services.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law before beginning the new practice.

Data Retention

Payment Defender retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, and enforce agreements.
